Introduction

Menos App LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Menos mobile application and the website menosapp.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

By using Menos, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

When you create an account and use Menos, we collect the following information:

• Account information: email address and name.
• Profile information: age, sex, weight, and height.
• Workout data: exercises performed, sets, reps, weight lifted, session history, and personal records.
• Subscription information: subscription status, billing dates, and payment method (processed by our payment providers).
• Device information: device type, operating system version, and crash reports (if crash reporting is enabled).

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide the service: track your workouts, calculate progressive overload recommendations, and display your training history.
• AI coaching: generate personalized coaching insights and fitness plans based on your workout data using artificial intelligence.
• Account management: manage your subscription and communicate important service updates.
• Improve the service: analyze usage patterns in aggregate to improve app functionality and performance.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Menos:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): cloud hosting and data storage.
• Anthropic: AI processing for coaching insights and fitness plan generation. Your workout data is sent to Anthropic's API for analysis but is not stored by Anthropic for training purposes.
• RevenueCat: subscription management for in-app purchases on iOS (via Apple's App Store).
• Firebase: crash reporting for iOS. Crash reports may include device information and stack traces.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information and workout data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all of your personal data — including your profile, workout history, and AI-generated insights — will be permanently removed from our systems.

Some anonymized, aggregated data (such as average lift statistics) may be retained after account deletion, as it cannot be linked back to you.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen within the app. Account deletion is immediate and permanent. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

If you are unable to delete your account through the app, contact us at boston@menosapp.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encrypting sensitive credentials at rest, and restricting access to personal data to essential services only.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Menos is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Menos after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
